San Juan Bautista Church

The church and the Juan de Salinas central Park are two attractions that form an unequaled  architectural ensemble. The Church of Sangolquí is a building dating back to early last century. Standing out its harmonious facade, columns and tympanum, typical of Greek architecture with turrets and vaulted niches of  Roman cut. Next to it is the Chapel of San Francisco, built on the ruins of where the first parish church had been built..
