Here lie the ashes of the favorite son of this land. His name is part of national history as protagonist of the First Cry of Independence, gestated on August 10, 1809. The canton and the nation pay tribute to our hero.
On the facade of the main entrance, we find an arch embossed with images that evoke the Holocaust site of the Royal Headquarters of Lima. In the inside, on the sides are busts of the martyrs of August 10, 2010, the shield and the flag of our canton escort this national temple.
